It gave me such a confidence boost just having Lindsey there. I honestly didn't realize how profound this was until looking back after everything was said and done. Once things started to progress quickly there wasn't time to think, and I know I couldn't have made it without her there. She came in the middle of the night (or morning, rather) and was so patient with me when I was indecisive and insecure. She didn't take over or push me into or out of any steps or decisions. 12/10 recommend having Lindsey ask your doula! You never really know how your birth experience is going to go, and she kept me calm and helped inform me on things I didn’t know 100% about. She also kept telling me to breathe, because I forgot, which is a major thing you need to do 😂❤️ couldn’t have done it without her!

When I found out I was pregnant I was beyond terrified. I had no clue what I was doing. How was I going to bring a human into this world? My mom hadn't given birth in 15 years, Ethans mom 26 years, and of course Ethan was way more clueless than I was. I researched doulas. Their purposes, the pros, the cons, the cost, and still had so many questions. After a post on facebook I was given a recommendation to look up Lindsey on facebook. I then reached out and I am so beyond glad I did! We chatted online about birth plans, what I was looking for, and her services. Of course I had no clue what questions to ask, and she walked me through that. We met with her for the first time and everything clicked and I began to feel relief in the aspect that things during birth would run as smoothly as possible with someone there to advocate for me and baby. She was there to talk me through any questions I had during the pregnancy, she was there instead of google (which makes the pregnancy 100% less stressful let me tell you). The day I went into labor she was there within the hour of me walking into labor and delivery. She walked me through breathing, Ethan through stretches and massages to help me through contractions, and mostly she advocated for not only my baby but myself and the way I wanted things to go. She held my legs and helped me work through pushing and even got some super awesome pictures of our family together right after he was born. She even stayed awhile at the hospital to make sure everything went smoothly after. I also have reached out to her multiple times since delivery with questions and she has given me an answer or an article to read everytime. I would recommend Lindsey to anyone and everyone, first time mom or not. She gives you a piece of mind that makes pregnancy, labor and delivery, and a new baby much more enjoyable and smooth sailing!
